As you may already be aware, October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month and this year ShaveMOB is doing it’s part to help out all the patients of breast cancer. For every women’s razor sale in the month of October, ShaveMOB will be donating twenty-five cents to the Rocky Mountain Cancer Assistance (RMCA), a non-profit organization that offers assistance to cancer survivors and patients.
Per their current Facebook post and an email I received a few hours ago, Mantorii is up and running again. The online custom men’s dress shoes company started business up again this morning after a three-month hiatus. They offer men’s shoes starting at $299, a heck of a deal for custom! They also have some great accessories including wallets and laptop sleeves. In the email they mentioned that they have teamed up with online menswear company, InStitchu, so we can only hope that brings great things down the road! Head over to their site and start ordering great custom shoes and accessories again! (more…)
As you may know, I have recently been in touch with Milk Shirts to review some of their white dress shirts that they provide. You can read my initial review of their site here. Recently I was contacted by staff at ShaveMOB and offered the opportunity to review a two month supply of their men’s blades. ShaveMOB is based out of Denver, CO where I am also located. It’s always great to get to know local businesses! They sent me a four-pack of their Caveman (6 blade razor) with trimmer and a handle. Below you will find my thoughts on how sharp these blades are and how clean of a shave they offer! (more…)
As you may remember, I did a site review of Lewis & Taylor Shirt Makers a while back. I received the shirt in a timely manner, back in July. After some minor issues (detailed below), I was finally able to wear and review the shirt. I am pleased to report that I am happy with the shirt and impressed with Lewis & Taylor’s customer service. My full review is after the break! (more…)
About a month ago I reached out to Completely Royal. Founded in 2012, Completely Royal is a men’s clothing and accessories company that currently offers leather belts. Little did I realize that these belts were of a very unique nature. The next day i received a reply from Zack Chapple, Founder of Completely Royal. We had a friendly conversation about our companies and the idea of me completing this review. As I awaited the arrival of the product I read through their entire website and noticed that on the Philosophy page it stated how the company wanted to be very innovative and create products that make life more convenient. My thoughts on this went something like, “That’s great that they want to be innovative, but c’mon… belts? Please.” I am here to tell you today that I was completely wrong. Not only was I wrong, but I am in such disbelief at how great these belts work that I am still trying to understand why all belts aren’t like this. Read on to learn more about these belts and here my thoughts on them! (more…)
You may remember that a while back I posted an article about InStitchu. At that time it was just my general opinion of the type of company that InStitchu is. I am happy to say that I can now back up my opinion with a review of an actual product from InStitchu. I had been in touch with a few staff at InStitchu over the process of that post and now the process of this review. They were kind enough to offer me a shirt for review on my site. Without further adieu, here it is. (more…)
Dandy Pocket, Purveyor of Style, is a company that offers many great pocket square patterns along with other items, such as laces and lapel pins. I have recently been working with iTailor to try out their new iShoes line and I have now received the shoes and worn them around quite a bit. In the past I have done a shirt review and a suit review and have been satisfied with the quality of the products that iTailor sent me, especially for what iTailor is charging. These shoes are no different, at a starting price of $119 (well below purchasing a decent shoe in stores), they are of good quality for what you get. Below you will find my iShoes review! (more…)
A few weeks back I worked with Tailor Store to start a review of a bunch of their products (initial article). Well, all the items arrived about a week ago, which was very quick, and everything looks awesome. (more…)
“We create custom white dress shirts for men who value style, comfort and above all, exceptional craftsmanship.”
Milk Shirts is a company that does strictly white dress shirts for men. And based on what I have seen so far, they do a great job of it. They offer many white dress shirts, in three varieties; play, work and formal. I believe the reasoning behind offering only white dress shirts is because they are the absolute staple of any man’s wardrobe and with that, should probably be of great quality. On their website Milk Shirts has some gorgeous photography of their shirts, both in their shop and in a look book. In addition to the great photography, they also have a video (embedded below) that explains how being 100 percent is important! (more…)
I just wanted to bring all my readers in the loop– let you know what is going on at the site and what new articles you will be seeing in the future.
So far, since I started the site up at the start of 2013, everything has been going great. I have worked with some great companies and provided reviews of many products!
For those of you who like the site the way it is, don’t worry, I’m not actually changing the structure, design, or current articles. I will still be posting many reviews of menswear products. Here is just a list of some additions I hope to make in the coming weeks.
- Weekly Gadget Article – I’m planning to post a review or news article about a different menswear gadget each Monday. Gadgets at this point could be anything from necklaces and watches all the way to a belt or other accessory.
- Weekly Health/Fitness Article – This article will be a review of a fitness/exercise product, a workout tip for the week, or maybe even just a great healthy smoothie/juice recipe. Temporary Name – ‘Workout Wednesday’
- Weekly Beverage/Cocktail Article – This article will feature a specific beverage for the week in the form of a review, suggestion, or news post.
Thanks for taking the time to read my site and I look forward to posting many more articles for you!
Hand cut for a perfect fit
Recently, I have been working with the CEO of Tailor Store to start a review of the company. Tailor Store has offered me the opportunity to review many of their different products. This article will discuss their site and the order process of these different items.
I never thought I’d say it, but I am really taking a liking to the tailored/fitted undershirt concept. Around a month and a half ago I was given the opportunity to try out two different undershirt companies that are attempting to change the game… and doing just that! These companies are UnderFit and Mr. Davis, and you can view my review/comparison piece here. In addition to these two companies, I have recently been introduced to a third ‘undershirt game changing’ company. Enter, Sloane Men, offering ‘The Invisible Undershirt’. Sloane Men offers numerous shades of skin-colored undershirts to match your skin as close as possible, but they also offer a traditional white undershirt that is the same thing, except the color. They were kind enough to send me a skin-colored undershirt and a white one. Today, I will be talking about the white undershirt and comparing it to UnderFit.
